We have begun our SVO (straight vegetable oil) diesel bus conversion! After years of research Chris finally bought a diesel tour bus and is having it converted to run on veggie oil. This 22 ft. Ford F450 7.3 shuttle bus is going to be a beauty. The custom conversion is being done by our good friend Kirby at Go Green Early here in Denver, CO. Oil will be recycled from S. Broadway restaurants and processed, then used to fuel our tours and travels. The bus currently seats 16 but will only seat nine when the bathroom and kitchenette are added. She safely carries 15,000 lbs. of weight and has a heavy-duty tow package. After the conversion is complete, we will be installing the RV bathroom and kitchenette; and last but not least we will apply a custom sticker job-- just in time for our summer tours. The bus has room for advertising which is currently available for socially and environmentally responsible businesses and organizations. The bus will be ready for charter by the summer of 2008. The first tour is booked for the mid-west this July and then we'll tour again in September. Look for us on the road! Happy trails....
